4. LBMS
LBMS (LTO Battery Management System) is developed specifically for LTO battery. Compared to other BMS, LBMS has advantages of high-pressure resistance (> 8600V) and dual isolation. Especially suitable for high voltage, high current charging & discharging and continuous operation. At present, more than 150 LBMS are used in high-voltage LDS worldwide, with the longest service period of more than 6 years without any incidents.
(If you need LBMS information, please contact us for LBMS product manual)5. Safety requirements
1) Only professionals and qualified personnel authorized by Wingo Power are allowed to perform product installation, operation, maintenance, fault diagnosis and treatment, etc.;
2) LDS is prohibited to be exposed or stored above 60ºC;
3) Do not heat or throw LDS into fire;
4) Do not immerse LDS in water or other conductive liquids;
5) Children and others who lack the knowledge of safe use are prohibited to use this product;
6) It is forbidden to short-circuit the positive and negative poles of LDS directly, and avoid any metal or other conductive objects contacting the positive and negative poles of the LDS except the clamping bolt and conductive belt;
7) Keep away from dangerous goods or dangerous environment, such as corrosive chemicals, dangerous machinery, rain, high temperature environment, etc.;
8) If there is smoke in the process of use, the power supply should be cut off immediately. Use dry powder fire extinguisher, water-based fire extinguisher or carbon dioxide fire extinguisher to put out the fire. If the fire cannot be controlled by the above measure, use a large amount of fire water to control the fire. If necessary, evacuate the crowd timely and report to the police;
9) If you have any questions, please contact our after-sales staff.
6.Use
6.1 Check before power on
1) Check the dashboard of the locomotive to confirm the status of the LDS is normal and there is no alarm information;
2) Ensure SOC is higher than 50% before starting off. It is recommended to fully charge the LDS before starting the locomotive;
3) When SOC is lower than 30%, please charge the LDS as soon as possible;
4) Check whether the coolant is enough, if not, add specified coolant.
6.2 Charging requirements
Pay attention to the following matters when charging:
1) When charging, the locomotive should stop at the designated location; confirm the loco is flameout, remove the key and pull down the parking brake;
2) Put a warning board of "Charging danger! Do not approach!" in an obvious position beside the charging locomotive;
3) User should use Wingo specified charger to charge the LDS;
4) Before charging, check whether the charging plug and loco body socket model match;
5) In high temperature, users should strengthen the temperature inspection of charger and LDS;
6) If the charger is abnormal, the user should stop running immediately and find the cause. It is strictly forbidden to operate with fault;
7) Non-professionals are strictly prohibited from approaching or touching the charging cable and plug at will, or operating the charging equipment;
8) After charging, the connection between the LDS and the charger should be cut off in time (i.e. pulling out the charging plug).
6.3 Requirements for locomotive after long-term storage
1) It should be stored in the ambient temperature of -20ºC ~ 45ºC (the best ambient temperature is 10ºC-35ºC), and the surrounding environment should be dry, ventilated and cool; avoid direct sunlight, high temperature, high humidity, corrosive gas, violent vibration and other conditions; the best storage SOC of the LDS is 40%~60%;
2) It is strictly prohibited to connect the load or hidden load during storage;
3) The MSD should be pulled out;
4) During storage, it should be fully charged once every six months, and then discharged to the best SOC range for storage;
5) After long-term storage, if the LDS is found to bulge, over-voltage, under- voltage or others, please contact our after-sales staff immediately for technical support.
7. Daily maintenance
7.1 Daily maintenance
The driver is responsible for loco daily maintenance (before, during and after work). Specific points can be referred to as follows:
1) The charging operation should be operated by qualified personnel. During the charging process, ensure that the plug is in good contact with the socket, the charging equipment works normally, and all connection points of the LDS are in good contact. If there is any abnormality, stop charging immediately;
2) Check the data of voltage, temperature and differential pressure of the cell displayed on the dashboard of the locomotive before charging and discharging to ensure that all values are in the normal range;
3) If there is a lot of dust, metal chips or other sundries on the upper cover, pole, and side heat sink of the LDS box, it should be cleaned with compressed air in time, and avoid using water or water-soaked objects to clean;
4) During charging and discharging, try to avoid splashing water or other conductive objects on the upper cover and pole of the LDS; It is forbidden to use the LDS in heavy rain;
5) Estimate the charging time and discharge time of the LDS according to the actual use status, and observe whether there is any abnormality at the end of charging and discharging.
7.2 Periodic maintenance
To ensure normal operation, users need to maintain the LDS periodically in addition to routine maintenance.
Periodic maintenance includes cleaning, fastening, inspection, assembly changing and replacement. Maintenance items and cycles are shown in the table below.
Table 1 Maintenance and periodNo. | Item | Requirement | Check |
1 | Connection | Check the high-voltage connections or plug-ins units of LDS are fastened properly. | Once every three months |
2 | Heat management system | Check whether there is dust and debris in the air inlet and outlet of the fans; check whether the heat dissipation system and fans work properly; check whether the liquid cooling system is normal; check whether there is leakage and deformation in the cooling pipeline. | Once every three months |
3 | Installation | Check whether the module box, high-pressure box and frame is firmly fixed. | Once every three months |
4 | Insulation resistance | Use insulation tester to measure the insulation of LDS; the insulation should not be less than 5MΩ; | Once every three months |
5 | System appearance | Whether there is dust accumulation, sludge, cracks, deformation and swelling in the LDS box or high-pressure box. | Once every three months |
6 | Sealing | Check the tightness of LDS box; whether there is heat conduction agent or coolant leakage. | Once every three months |
7 | Low-voltage cable harness | Check whether the low-voltage cable harness is damaged, bruised, or loose. | Once every three months |
8 | Explosion-proof valve/ breathing valve | Check whether the explosion-proof valve/breathing valve of LDS box is blocked or damaged. | Once every three months |

Company Introduction:
Wingo was founded in Shenzhen, a city of innovation. With a collective of experienced engineers and technicians, we aim to design, build, and run foundational systems and services that is the backbone of autopilot transportation.
Wingo has made outstanding achievements in the field of autopilot locomotive, LTO battery dynamic system, T-BOX data collection, and LICU control center.
The autopilot locomotive that we developed is able to operate safely and constantly with high performance even under harsh construction conditions.
The collision avoidance system prevents damage from collisions or derailments. The low center of gravity gives out good performance even on poor condition tracks.
All components are designed for moist and dusty conditions, such as water tunnels and mining tunnels.
The battery capacity, driving system, external dimension, and TAPS(transportation autopilot system) can be designed at customer′s request.
An intelligent locomotive and an experienced tech support team are what you need for longest running time and earliest completion time.
